Netflix will come with a lot new content this April, so continue celebrating Spring the right way by checking out the freshest series and shows streaming today. The streaming platform will come with a lot of new series in April 2021. Check all the new series here.
Snabba Cash
Young mother Leya is determined to become a successful businesswoman in order to give her son a good life. The fast money of the start-up world seems like a good choice, but more money is needed to break through. Leya reaches out to some old friends who are now in the middle of the drug trade. The new Swedish series is a sequel / reboot to the popular Scandinavian crime films.
Dad Stop Embarrassing me!
In this new Netflix sitcom, teen Sasha goes to live with her father (Jamie Foxx). Her dad has no idea what teenage girls are all up to but does his utmost to strengthen their bond. He regularly goes way too far in this, which explains the title of this comedy series. Jamie Foxx based Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! partly on his own experiences with daughter Corinne.
Shadow and Bone
Fantasy lovers can have fun with this new Netflix series. A deadly cloud of dust splits the kingdom of Ravka in two, leaving the land in immense danger. Alina Starkov discovers she has supernatural abilities: the young soldier could be the key to exterminating the monsters. The series is based on a multi-part book series, so if the show is popular, Netflix could be quite a few years ahead!
This Is a Robbery: The World’s Biggest Art Heist
This Is a Robbery: The World’s Biggest Art Heist highlights the greatest art theft ever, which took place in Boston in 1990. On that infamous March 17, two police officers enter the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. They point their gun at the staff and yell, “This is a robbery.” They manage to bring a number of precious and unique paintings with them; and the police are empty-handed. Anyone who could possibly have done it will be found dead not much later. The case became world news and the 13 works of art have still not been found – anyone who still manages to track them down will receive a reward of 10 million euros. Interesting, isn’t it?
The Circle: Season 2
Michelle Buteau is back to host the second season of the wildly popular Netflix Original reality competition show that has contestants social distancing and quarantining for cash (which already makes it more enticing than what the rest of us have been doing for free for the past year thanks to COVID-19). Prepare for even more drama and shenanigans coming from a whole new cast of potential allies, catfishes, and enemies anonymously communicating with, rating, and messing with one another in hopes of being the lone survivor to grab that elusive $ 100,000 prize.
