August gets extra hot on Netflix with the supernatural series The Sandman, the last season of Locke and Key and the thriller series The Girl in the Mirror.
The Sandman – Season 1
The Sandman (Tom Sturridge) is the king of dreams and rules the nightmare realm. A cult manages to capture him and keep him in a cage for a thousand years. When The Sandman finally escapes, he discovers that his palace and empire have fallen into disrepair. His subjects are also no longer afraid of him and that has to change.
Locke and Key – Season 3
The third season of Locke and Key is also the last. Creator Cartlon Cuse, who also has Lost to his name, did not want to continue with the hit series for too long and stops at the peak. The family has defeated Dodge (Laysla De Oliveira), but that doesn’t mean they’re safe, as a new threat makes life miserable for the Lockes.
Selling the OC – Season 1
The ladies of Selling Sunset are angels compared to the group of brokers from the spin-off Selling the OC. The men and women of this reality series, set in wealthy Orange County, cannot air or see each other. The jealous brokers argue so often that it’s a miracle they still have time to sell houses.
